I LOVE seeing a white wine in a decanter — we had an older Les Clos decanted this morning!

After A LOT of decanting — we had these two with fresh bruschetta, chicken Parmesan, and homemade garlic bread

Agreed. I moved from California to Texas after living there for 25 years. I still mostly drink wine from California. They’re hard to beat and you can find plenty of ones of all different kinds for affordable prices.

ha!!!

The port was AMAZING my friend. We actually watched ‘A year in Port’ with our friends over the weekend and I decided, what a great opportunity to pop this open - as it did not disappoint.

BTW that and ‘A year in Burgundy’ are two documentaries I’d recommend to any wine enthusiast!

After a lot of California wines lately - really wanted something French to start the weekend - so decided to go with this little gem — not an off the charts vintage - or as big as say the 95 or 96 — this is quite good...actually opened it this morning when I got up - and let sit all day and now it is SUPER GOOD.

Cheers all!!! Happy Friday!!
