Rolex Found in Estate

Hi All,

I'm not a watch guy. I do help people authenticate games and pokemon cards in other forums however and hoping I can get the same knowledge out of you watch folks!

Trying to get your opinions on this Rolex found in an estate. It's in rough shape and some of the markings on the back of the face are hard to read.

I've attached several pictures to my post. Many thanks in advance.

It would be interesting to see what’s inside. Are you brave enough to pop open the caseback?

Now now, some of the dudes have experimented with putting rotating bezels on their Explorer IIs. Maybe the owner was such a... forward-thinking individual
