Gray market questions and referral
Ive tried for some time to purchase a watch from an AD. It is a waiting game. If I purchase a new watch from the gray market does it come with papers and warranty. Does anyone have a gray market dealer they recommend.
Thank you, JP |

Try the trusted sellers in the TRF classifieds section.

Which AD have you been to? I am too not very keen about the waiting game but just do not give in paying over retail getting from grey market.

The hell with the AD. I dont like the games they play. Timepiece Perfection out of Bucks Co. PA. is solid. Will negotiate.

Any of the trusted sellers in the classified sub forum will be easy to work with.
If you’re in CA try Tony (Justrolexes) or Patrick (OCROLEXGUY). I done deals with both and they will take good care of you.

My go to is DavidSW but I have done deals with most of the big sellers on TRF and have always had smooth transactions.

I have dealt with all the popular TRF trusted sellers successfully.
But Thanh Do (Takuya Watches) seems to be the only one that includes whether a watch has been polished in his postings-something I am very picky about. Aamir’s (Sohais) customer service is on another level. And DSW has a vast selection while maintaining great service. |

I’ve dealt successfully with DavidSW. Box and papers included, and remaining warranty was still valid. This was for an “unworn” condition 216570. I will work with them again. I liked the showroom and it was a fun experience playing with the inventory. I’m guessing the online experience is of similar quality.

I've done transactions with TRF member Recaro18 and they have been positive. Can recommend without reservation.

Davidsw all the way, there are some wonderful other dealers out there as well.
If you see a watch advertised as naked - that means no box and papers (watch only). Full or complete set means warranty card, box, manual, hangtags usually, etc. |

Desirolex (Chandra) also is outstanding to deal with — I’ve done so four or five times, buying and selling. And Chase at Nashville Watch is outstanding as well, as is Patrick at OCRolex. Off Forum, I’ve had excellent experiences with Luxury Bazaar and Wolvyn. All absolutely trustworthy. Some of the sellers offer warranties and some don’t. They all sell with and without box and papers and say so in each case.
