After actually trying one on, the short hand was a absolute non-factor. I bought one soon after. It is spectacular on the wrist.

Had mine a couple of weeks now and getting used to it gradually, its very comfortable to wear.
is it worth four grand? I really don't know, will it appreciate in value like all the Submariners I have owned over the years? I doubt it. Oh yes, I don't give a s**t about the hands. |

I do not have a problem with the hands the watch itself is so comfortable. My only gripe is the SS polished bezel you only look at it and there are scuffs on it

My nitpick is the labels below "Explorer". I think Rolex should put them in back of the case or maybe in the interior of the bezel.
I really think is a great watch. |
