Any thoughts on this Explorer??

I know straying too far from the basic Rolex designs aren't too popular on this forum, but I was just wondering if anyone else thinks this customized Explorer looks cool?? Would anyone be interested if Rolex offered this DLC coating directly?

Seems to me that PVD generally looks better on larger watches. Seems odd looking on the Exp I, IMHO.

It's ok but not my thing on a Rolex. I wouldn't PVD the bracelet. To easy to scratch. Think it would look better on a nato and PVD....but I think I'll be keeping mine stock....except on a nato.

I like the look. But I'd never own one. I've not seen proof that the coating holds up over time.

i like the black look on certain watches. that being said. not that one.

also. there are a lot of rolex "die hards" that would think it was the best thing since sliced bread if rolex produced a black watch them selves. FACT.

I wouldn't, even if it was stock from Rolex.
Not a fan of black.
Though I think I know a friend or two who would dig the blacked out look.

If it was meant to be black Rolex would have made it that way! Just my opinion.
