Hi Guys, Girls

Got two Rolex watches. Sub LV and an air-king. Air-king was first then I thought why not get another so I got the sub. After carfull consideration I am deciding to sell this watch. It is an M series Sub LV with box, papers. Bought June 2008 hardly worn as is why I am selling it. I do not like wearing it as much as my air-king.

Questions.

1. Advice on selling price?

2. Advice on shipping methods?

3. Anything else you think I need to know for selling this watch?

I live in Halifax NS Canada.

Hope these help:
1. Market value will obviously depend on the condition of the watch which would best be shown with pictures, but they've been selling in the low to mid $4000 range lately.

2. When I sell, I ship by whatever method the buyer prefers if within reason. I prefer USPS.

3. If the buyer has a good rep, I'll accept a check with shipping after the money clears. Otherwise, money order. I personally don't like money wire, but that's cuz I had a bad experience with wiring money in the past. And paypal...... don't get me started on paypal. It's literally designed to give no protection or benefit whatsoever for sellers. I'm fortunate enough to not have had a bad experience, but I've had several friends who've had terrible experiences with paypal. If big money's involved, I would steer clear.

GL selling! I'd reconsider, personally, as I love my LV. But it's your watch, you do what you want with it.

I sold my M serial LV sub for $4200 and it was BNIB, not a single sign of wear.

As far as shipping, I always ship USPS next day air fully insured, usually costs me about $50.00.

As far as value,depending on condition,up to $4500(US)at most!!
Shipping here in Canada I would only use Xpress Post CP or any courier service..!
Would also only sell to someone with a good reputation...No cheques,bank wire is fine(just make sure the money is actually in the account first) or I don't mind Paypal as long as the buyer pays the 3% fees(some people don't like them)....

One guy said to reconsider. I will however unlike most guys. I am not a big (size) watch kind of guy. The air-king suites me fine. I find the sub big and chunky and I am always find my-self wondering why I bought this watch? I find it is too big for work and sticks out too far? I am not sure what the draw for most people is to all these sport watches?

Like others have stated, the condition of the watch is paramount to the selling price. If it's LNIB, practically no scratches or dings, you should be getting $4,500, that's pretty much the ceiling. If it's in less then perfect condition then your looking at probably $4,100 - $4,300. This is all of course assuming it has the box & papers.
