As this thread is recently resurrected... these are my calatravas.

1) 96 in steel with gold hands
2) 96 in rose gold with sweep center seconds and tiffany dial
3) 3509 in steel

It's the only Patek I would own. A bit out of my league now as I spent the money on several Rolex watches. Maybe when my son graduates from Med School I will be able to afford a Calatrava.

I have a 5196J and swapped the brown strap for a mildly shiny black one - it looks stunning. Imo a classic PP within a "reasonable" (hey, reasonably for PP?) price range.
