But don’t forget last year they were getting between 5-6 and I believe this year has been a few as well it’s moving forward due to the two 37mm variants eating into production.

Plus maybe helped by us a little Daniel said they are getting more known and enquires have increased hence the longer lists, remember last year I was offered a 15202st within a couple of months now they are quoting 3 years.

About a year I think, but the place on the list doesn’t always determine when the watch is made available. I was on the list before Sam but Sam received his first.

That’s quite some time to hold on for - I kind of think when waiting lists for watches get past 18 months (maybe 2yrs. max) it’s sort of the vendors way of saying no chance!

A Rolex AD quoted me 50 years for a ceramic Daytona for my wife. I thought I’d misheard the lady and she’d meant 15 years so I queried it and she stood there and defiantly stated 50 years. I haven’t been back there since.

Not surprised you’ve not been back - shame they can’t just be straight up and say sorry not available.

That’s one of the things that annoys the crap out of me. I’d much rather them just say “sorry, but you’ll most likely never get it unless you purchase $x first” or something of that nature. At least then they’re being honest with you. Quoting 50 years basically means you’ve lost a customer for life.

Seriously some ADs are total gits. Basically that is telling you to get lost. Really poor way to treat a customer and this will basically bite them in the ass when the market turns.

I know they get harassed all day long for hard to get watches, they probably get treated poorly by many customers and most cant even afford the watches they are selling. But they are still being paid to do their job properly and respectfully and thats what they should do.

Like you, I never forget nor ever go back. A particular high end dealer (part of the WOS group) promised me a watch and then went into denial about timing etc. My wife was about to order a watch from another one of their branches and I got her to cancel it and explain why. They probably don't care but I will never go back to them again. Ever. Even if they called and said they had a Daytona for me, I would decline. I have guided friends of mine who were about to use them to other dealers. I know it sounds mad but thats just the way I am. I will never give them the opportunity to screw me twice.

Thats why I like the AP lounge model. The people there are great and straightforward. No BS, polite, courteous and friendly. There are also many AD gems out there. Just stick to one or two and be loyal.

For sure the staff at the London lounge know how to treat their clients in the best way possible.

A one year wait on a 15407ST pretty much means you were one heavy hitter at your AD / Boutique, top tier :). Congrats! I am sure you have earned it.
