Between the two I would go 116710BLNR. As a daily it is versatile, interesting and stylish.
It’s easy to see why it is the perfect watch for many. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Both watches are great watches. But I am going with a GMT BLNR.
As an only watch, you have a great looking watch, splash of color, subtle and a dual time capability you will not get with the other. BLNR for the win on this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

After having now seen the SD43 in person, it gets my vote if forced to choose between the two as a daily, assuming you have at least 6.75-7" wrists. |

Looks like the BLNR is winning, which I find surprising!?
In short, I’d go for the Sea Dweller as I find a timing bezel far more useful (and I thought others would too) than a dual time function plus also find that a plane black watch suits more occasions. Longer answer, I previously owned a BLNR and a SubC (ND) at the same time and needed to free up some funds. I loved both watches and the BLNR even had some sentimentality too it also. In the end I traded both in for a SD4K to release funds and make the process a little more bearable. Thought process being, the all black dial and timing feature was most useful to me, plus given I’ve got smaller wrists the SDK just fits better than both the BLNR and most other 6 digit sports watches. Tough decision Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Complications - BLNR has 3, SD43 has 2 - BLNR wins Clasp functionality - SD43 wins Depth rating - SD43 wins Movement/power reserve - SD43 wins (the BLNR in question is a 116710) Being discontinued? Irrelevant, that is a subjective point. Objectively, that's a 3:1 win for the SD43 If you are going to make an objective comparison, please include all relevant features, not just the ones to support your subjective opinion.

To me as a one and only daily wearer it would have to be the GMT however ...
There is this thing, it’s intangible and hard to describe. Perhaps it’s the heart and the heart wants what it wants. The SD43 sings to me in a way that the BLNR just never never did, so I moved it on. Above is the main reason why I’m not a one watch kinda guy |
