I love Seiko too, but GS under the loupe is flawless. The way light reflects off the hands and markers are beautiful. I think that's value.

I thought that but then I went to a private showing of the new models. And was really disappointed. They put a cardboard movement in a steel watch to show a platinum watch.

Also on another watch the hand fell off

I was deflated

Did they have a working platinum Credor Eichi II at that event? They did at the GS event I went to earlier this year. That inflated me.......

I used to love the 5712 but that’s before I discovered the beauty of the AP Jumbo. The finishing on the 15202 is really on another level. I have tried on my wrist both the 5711 and 5712 in both steel and white gold. I still like it tbh but AP imho is on another level in terms of finishing.

The black ceramic PC is really the bomb. Very tough to get. I love the white metal and blue dial too. It is a great watch in ceramic or any metal for that matter.

By end of its self, it’s an amazing wrist watch. It’s amazing the sort of things we obsess about in this hobby.

This is why the hobby is so interesting. What I like in a watch will be different then what others like. Thankfully this is true or we would all be wearing the same watch.

I tried on an Eichi II in Wako, Tokyo - I have never seen a watch as well crafted. Absolutely blew me away.

ABSOLUTELY my friend!!! Glad you are enjoying it!!! I love all the AP PC references.

I’ve been just ‘waiting’ on a cpl ‘other’ references - from my AD, but not being in any real rush - and enjoying the collection as-is has been fun lately.
