Icon12 polished links

Hi all,

This may have been posted before - but can anyone out there advise how do you treat polished links to the unpolished look please.

Thanks in advance.

do you mean you want to change polished look to an unfinished one? If that's the case you can take to a good watchmaker or jeweler who can put a satin finish on it. It's all in the technique of polishing.

I have done this on a stainless bracelet that had PCL's and used the ScotchBrite green pads and it worked just fine. The trick is to hold the bracelet in one hand so you can bend the links to access all of each link while using a small pice of the pad in your other hand to remove the polished finish. After that lay the bracelet pieces flat and use the pad in a continuous stroke the length of each piece to achieve a consistent finish and the grain going in the correct direction. Clean with mild hand soap and water and dry with a soft cotton towel.
