Buckley 1969 - 1603 thoughts on authenticity

Hi guys looking to buy this watch would appreciate your views
Only thing I am doubting is the hands shouldn’t it be black ?? Or that came later would really appreciate any feedback from the experts here

Thanks

All correct,
Black hands are on the later models (5 digit references)

Thanks guys ! The jubilee bracket on the watch is not the best lot of wear on it but for a 50 year old watch.
I guess it’s acceptable , I plan to put it on a nice black Cardovan leather strap from Worn&Wound should look good I hope

Anyone know what year they started doing the Buckley dials? One of my favorite variants

Here’s my 16030 with the black hands. I believe dates to 1980.

Thank you. That's the condition I received it and had the movement serviced and stretch on the bracelet fixed. I enjoy it. Unique piece. Works well dressed up or casual.

That grey dial Buckley is awesome. I have a white dial Buckley and love it, but the grey dial is fantastic.

Thanks guys -- one of my favorites. Doesn't get as much wrist time as it should, but all smiles when it's on the wrist!

Can you walk to pick it up? Travel the Silk Road. If it was good enough for thousands of traders and merchants over the millennia, then you can do it.

If you truly are a Rolex lover then you would hoof it and not be so 20th century with this "air travel" stuff.
