Any proof that Genta designed the King Midas and the 5100?

I've read that Gerald Genta designed two Rolexes in the late 1960's, both with integrated bracelets and hidden clasps: the King Midas and the Rolex 5100 "Beta Quartz" (a.k.a. "Il Texano").

The Gerald Genta Heritage Website doesn't list any Rolexes as iconic Genta models. In fact it doesn't list any watch designs in the 1960's at all. Every other decade from the 1950's through his death is represented.

At the very least, it seems Genta's Royal Oak was inspired by Rolex's integrated bracelet + hidden clasp designs. Is there any record/proof that Genta did (or didn't) design the King Midas and 5100?

Here is a quote from an interview with him:

-"Personally, I have only designed one Rolex, which still exists today and forms part of the Cellini collection."

That would seem to (possibly) point to the King Midas. Awesome link, thanks!
