Wow, 43 bids to $5600.

Sometimes I wonder about the buyers on the Bay.

Reported. Hopefully they remove it before someone loses big time.

The Auction has five days to go, so I guess that will be OK.

I wonder how many times bidders get pissed when an auction goes away and think the seller cheated them out of a "crazy good deal", completely ignorant to the fact that a bunch of random people on TRF saved their A**

No credit to myself I pretty much just report when there's a consensus amongst the more knowledgable lol.

ANY Assistance in getting This Junk Off eBay Is Appreciated.

A certain Volume Of Reports are required to get a listing removed, so you are helping in that effort.

Yes, and no. Members of the specialized Enhanced Member Reporting Team can get auctions removed quickly, and with a single report.

Yes. Really.

eBay has volunteer members with specialized knowledge whose reports are more extensive than those filed by regular users, and whose reports are fast-tracked to an internal team for immediate disposition.

There are people using eBay who can tell real Kate Spade handbags from fake ones, people who can tell real coins from replicas, and people who can tell real Rolexes, Breitlings or Heuers from fakes.

They might even come here to get auctions to report.

Actually, a board like this can be invaluable. Since nobody can know everything, the really minute points can be fleshed out here, making reports to eBay that much more accurate.

While this board may not be The Final Bastion Between Replicas and Chaos, it is a valuable resource.

Just for the record
Its (just) "Enhanced Reporting Team"
and yes it exists for all categories of sales items, not just watches

With all due respect, you are wrong. It is called the EMR program, for Enhanced Member Reporting.

Please run a search for Letters to eBay CEO Donahoe Protesting EMR Elimination.

You will find a couple of letters on stampcommunity.org from a member of the EMR program, regarding the authentication of postage stamps on eBay.

The EMR program does still exist, but on a limited scale and, I am told, without the annual holiday 'thank you' gift.

Sir, I am not sure if you're kidding or being serious. I did use the adjective specialized as a modifier for the noun knowledge, as in the specialized knowledge of its members, and as an adjective to describe the EMR group, but I never used specialized in anyway in the name or title of the Enhanced Member Reporting group.

Perhaps if you re-read the thread things will be clearer for you. Thank you.
