question about pressure test

Has anyone had a rolex with some pitting inside the case back lid just under the gasket/seal pass the 100 meter pressure test?

I have even seen case lids without pittings that have some fine scratches under where the gasket sits which seem to have occurred when the gaskets were removed or scraped off. Will this also affect the pressure test? Thanks in advance for any imput.
