Where are the threads on the Deepsea caseback?
I notice that the case back of the DeepSea is meant to be titanium, however I notice that there is also a Stainless steel tightening ring on the outside of the titanium part -therefore making the case back a 2 part piece. I am puzzled as to which part of the case back has the threads that thread onto the mid case? Are the treads on the titanium part or on the stainless steel section of the case back?
It seems very confusing without having seen it removed |

The threads are on the stainless steel ring. The ring just holds the titanium case back in place.

I cannot see the threads too clearly in the picture of the stainless steel ring but I guess that shofzr may be right. Clearer pictures would help but it is as best as I can get at present |
