Well it appears to be a steel (or possibly WG) Oyster with PCLs - and if you watch the animation it also shows a Triplock crown. Daytona/GMT/YMII, perhaps

that page starts with a triplock crown animation that fades to the image above of what appears to be an SS (or WG?) PCL bracelet.

i can't imagine that there's more submariner news to be had, or, at least, not significant enough of a submariner news to merit such an intro.

so, that leaves the GMT.....

WG GMT? or something else GMT-related? no, i won't speculate on bi-color bezels, LOL.

hmmmm.....

Still something of a surprise for the Yacht-Master line, although the TT was not really expected

SS and with those blued hands would be very nice

Whatever it is, is in steel. The triple lock crown has three equally sized circles.

Very little. If it was white gold the central circle below the crown would be bigger than the other two. With those markings it is either yellow gold or steel.

EDIT.....brain freeze. triplock for daytona, too.

so, either bi-color SS GMT or (much more likely) an SS daytona (or very unlikely daytona II).

Steel ceramic Daytona.
I'd consider one of those!

Thanks, learned something new there

Now if it was a new Daytona in SS, how many of you are like me who prefers it to remain at 40mm? One thing is for sure though... a big spike in list price

Agreed. I'm going to throw my hat into the ring and say YM II in SS. If Rolex were doing something radical with the Daytona, it would come in gold first - the proportions on the bracelet seem off for a 40mm Daytona

The exception to the rule is an anniversary model methinks. The Sub didn't get radical treatment and I think the Daytona won't either IMHO.

Would they really honor the 50th Daytona with a radical departure from its roots - an SS chronograph?
