Help on his 1520 movement please

I just got a 1968 marked 5513 in and would like some opinions on the movement. Does all look legit or did I just get screwed?

Haha. I don’t know. The service markings are the exact same day five years apart and the lack of serial number just gave me a strange feeling.

I’ve never dealt with a 1520 movement before. I’m used to looking at 3xxx series movements.

1520 isn’t chronometer certified thus no serials were written into movement plate.

If it makes you feel better, they try to replicate the 3135. They never have bothered with the older movements.

I have seen *similar* rotor weights but it is instantly apparent it’s not Rolex.

1520

Is it true that the 1520 lettering is real gold ?
