I doubt it'll be a bi color GMT, but if it is, I'll lose my mind if Rolex releases just a coke, that would be the ultimate kick in the pants for me!!!

I think outdated is perhaps a better description.

This table is more accurate (I think). On my reading it still shows it is likely to be steel or yellow gold.

I agree with you , one hundredth per 100 ... I personnally created this table

PS: have a look to xxxx9 (white gold crowns), the non monobloc one. 3 equally sized dots.

I'm impressed. Very good work.

I noticed the xxxx9 crowns, but wasn't 100% sure Or G. stood for white gold. Now I can be sure it does!! Nice work.

Makes perfect sense, showing a "silver" bracelet as the teaser. It could very well be platinum as we all know Rolex likes releasing precious metals first.

However it could just be the good ole 40mm case (I sure as hell hope so)

Quick question - and as it applies to the crown Rolex "teased" in the Basel webpage - what white gold Rolexes currently come with a triplock non-monobloc 7mm crown?

Answer is simple : NONE ...

Moreover WG watches initially equiped with this crown are modified with the monobloc one , when crown replacement is necessary during repair or maintenance.

Thanks - that was my answer, too. So the teaser with that crown must be an SS model methinks.

Probably yes , but nobody have never seen a triplock crown in platinum ... so we don't know what kind of dots could be on it ...

Possibly a new two tone model (perhaps the Milgauss ... although triplock, so...?) as the teaser makes quite a point of showing two different shades of black/grey throughout the animation. More likely a black ceramic model though (I am guessing the Daytona) as the grey, representing the older steel casing, gets 'painted' to black, indicating the new ceramic. Just a couple of thoughts to join in the fun! AM.

If this picture is correct and the bracelet is indeed 21mm it wouldn't be a bi-colored GMT as I think that watch takes a 20mm. To the best of my knowledge the only watches using the 21mm bracelet in stainless right now are the newly upsized ones (41mm Datejust II and the new 42mm Explorer II).
The Daytona takes the 20mm so unless they upsize it I don’t think it is a Daytona. The Yacht-Master II on the other hand does use a 21mm bracelet so if the above post is correct as far as the bracelet goes I think we’ll be looking at a Yacht-Master II in stainless steel. Unless I'm completely wrong and it's a new up sized Daytona ceramic bezeled modern Newman that will make me buy another new watch that I don’t need.

Just one opinion.

My guess is its a teaser of the anniversary Daytona that Rolex has confirmed it is releasing this year.

My guess is a stainless, 40mm Daytona with black dial, green subdials and black ceramic bezel.

how aboutt....

How about a DDII with oyster bracelet ?
or what about a model between the Submariner and the Deep-Sea, a ref. 116600 perhaps ?

Anyone noticed that the crown looks big ? look at the distance between the dots and the crown...
Indicates something bigger then 40mm

So my guess is :

-new sea-dweller 116600
-bigger Daytona II and keep the old Daytona for the ladies (like the DJI and DDII is also for ladies now)
-Or YMII in SS

What i do think that must be almost 100% sure is :
midsize YMI and gold YMI updates
some new dials in the DJ and DD models
Some ugly bling editions
Maybe a jubilee bracelet for DJII ? (would be nice)

guessing is fun but we will have to wait and see

btw i still dont know why people think they would come with a TT ceramic Daytona maybe cause they first came with the gold model before and thats Rolex philosophy ? They only did it with the Submariner, GMT and YMII, in the past SS was first and even last year when they first updated the YMI in SS so there isnt any logic wih Rolex releases imho

Cheers

Has anyone ever wondered if there is someone officially from Rolex looking at all of our threads like this sitting back and laughing or maybe just maybe taking into consideration of what we want to happen and discussing these threads with there design staff. Just a thought.

That thought has gone through my mind plenty of times and I don't see any reason why Rolex officials won't be a part of this forum as undercover to gain access to knowledge as to what people expect and want new from Rolex.
