Suggestions for watch consignment

It's looking like it may be time for me personally to slim my vintage collection. No extreme rarities, especially in Rolex, but decent stuff. I'm looking for a seller in the continental USA.

Does anyone have any experiences, positive or negative, with the various sellers with wide appeal and reputations? I've been in this for over 30 years so I fully understand the differences between wholesale, retail, and consignment. I could sell on my own through the Forum, but my other work hasn't given me the time to prepare listings/photos/etc.

Anyone have any thoughts?

He mentioned that he doesn’t have time right now.
Can’t really blame him. It can be a major pain in the a** selling a watch, yourself.

I would check out Tim Bender from Fog City. He is on the forum, honest, and helpful.

Phillip Ridley, mainly a superb watchmaker, will sell proper watches.
The bonus is you get an implied guarantee of correctness if he accepts the watches you offer for sale.

+1 for Jacek at tropicalwatch. I’ve consigned some watches into him and he has always treated me well.

Another plus 1 for Jacek. I've consigned with him before. Sold almost immediately and there were no problems.
