Gmt 6542
I have two concerns here, first the bezel insert is a fake, which is declared by the seller, but more importantly he is claiming a cal 1030 and shows a photo of a 1030 movement.
I may be wrong but I do not think this is correct for a 6542. I think it should be a cal 1035. Can anyone pls confirm??? seller adrian-tony ( 145) A Rare Gentleman Rolex GMT- Master 1958 in Very good condition no Crown Guard . . The Ref Number: 6542 and serial Number:427***. Guaranteed Genuine The case is in great condition No rust or corrosion. The diameter of the case is 37 mm without the winder and 47 mm with the luges. The Dial in Mint conditon. The bezel is a beauty, pleasenote, aftermarket is made to look like original bezel. The Movement is original and sing Rolex 25 jewels 1030 in working order. The Movement has been serviced and running beautifully. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RARE-VINTAGE-R...item439cd15a79 |

The low BIN price is appropriate. Lugs are overpolished also....

Michael, as we know this isn't the original dial that came with this watch.
and you bring up the cornet, i personally think it is to tall and the cornet hole i could drive a truck though it. AND>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the relationship of the chapter ring versus the position of the 24hr mini, hmmm? also the lack of the dash between oyster perpetual. at best this is a very uncommon service dial the 3 MOST INPORTANT THINGS of the 6542, this watch has 2 strikes cheers |
