FS Forums: % of people actually looking to buy...

Curious, What percentage of people do you think who look at the FS forums are actually in the market to buy vs people who are just looking to look or to check out prices?

I have bought a number of pieces from the forum and sold a number of piece on the forum.

Unlike other sites, this forum, and one other forum dedicated to Rolexes provides a community that one would not risk to cheat around - all parts are vetted, all discussions are open, all sellers are known - and yes, I'm willing to pay more for what I need here and willing to pay less (and take associated risks) on other common sales places when I believe that I can tell real pieces from junk.

I have purchased twice from just "browsing" the FS section. I was not in the market either time (at least I didn't know I was, lol); I just happen to see something that really sung to me. One was the 16610LV, back when they could be had for around 5G.

I am normally checking the prices and I will buy if I find a good deal or something I want.

i think its filled with low ballers who will buy if they can get something at a way below market price.

I guarantee i could offer up my 5990 at retail which is already a steal, and would still get offers at 20% below my ask. I could sell it for that in a second too after sifting through all the other offers. So im sure its annoying for sellers.

I browse to see prices of current models I'm interested in but will also be quick to buy if I find a piece I want in the condition and price I want. Happened recently with my Patek 5168g.
