Double check the hidden link before clicking

All, I have received a few emails lately. The spammer pretended to be a buyer and asked me to verify my listing and provided a 'RolexForums' URL. Always remember to mouse over the link and double check what the actual link is.

If the buyer is coming to you, why would you ever need to click on any links?

The scammer is hoping the seller isn’t thinking clearly - obviously, as you point out, none of us - neither seller or buyer or just bystander should click on any links in PMs, emails or even posts unless you can “look ahead” and insure the link is safe.

Another thread on this same scammer is running in parallel to this one. The OP in that thread showed how he could inspect the link ahead of clicking it.

This is a phishing scam and is happening throughout the Sales Boards on this and other Forums.

There is no TRF mechanism that makes anybody "verify" or sign in to view their own ads.
