It’s amazing what a good picture can do for a timepiece!!!

A month or so ago I was bored and wanted to try some ‘light painting’ photography on my Franck Muller Krypton Carbon.

The watch case is full carbon with luminescent applied through it to give the watch and insane flow when charged by sunlight or, in this case, a UV light.

I’m a secondary market watch dealer and had this piece listed for sale on various sites with little to know interest. I assumed this would be a slow seller because of the lack of interest of the brand here in the states. I eventually sold the watch. The exact same day I posted these pics and a video of the lume in action it sort of vent viral.

Within 3 days the video had been tagged and reposted thru 10-12 large Instagram accounts all gaining thousands of likes and views. Me being tagged as the originator of the photo, I was getting call after call for people wanting to buy the watch at far more than my original listing price.

If I only knew... now I want the watch to keep for personal!

Awesome pics OP. How is the carbon material? Is it susceptible to chips if hit hard enough like most carbon cases, or is it harder and more like Richard Mille's NTPT?

A friend of mine sent me this! He knows I am a big FM fan. Beautiful shots. That watch is amazing. I owned a Vanguard 41 which was now sold for my forged carbon Cvstos. Cheers!

That is an awesome and daring design. Green Kryptonite is all I can think of...

Stunning. I think Vanguards are so underrated. I’d buy one of these ahead of a RM and pocket the substantial change to spend on other pieces/things...
