Nice. Getting this same piece for a good friend. Arriving tom. Almost tempted to take it for myself. It ticks all my wants for a third GS. Except that dial is green (i want blue). But that green dial is enchanting.

Congrats.
I saw it at my AD when I was picking up my SBGN001 and it looked really nice in person. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I strongly considered the 001 but went with this. The green looks black in a lot of conditions. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Enjoying the Grand Seiko sbgn007
I am currently enjoying my new GS sbgn007 whilst in Japan. I was looking for vintage seiko sports models and a date just 1601, but couldnt find any cool '60s and '70s Seikos, and the 1601s were not priced well and had little or no provenance, plus I saw some Franken watches too!
So came across the 007 with a glorious size, build quality and ultra accurate 9f movement and I was won over. Only downside so far is no micro adjustment for the bracelet! Plus I need to get used to the ticking second hand! Also picked up a save the ocean turtle, it's so nice too! |
