Could be wrong, but I think "Inexpensive Rolex" is an oxymoron. Not sure if an inexpensive alternative to your Rolex would qualify.

I used to wear my G-Shock. I bought an Apple Watch for a beater (only excuse I could think of to purchase one). I have worn it like 3 times. Nowadays, if I shouldn't wear a watch, i.e. Gym, yard work, etc. I just don't wear one!

I use my Sinn watches to ensure that my Rolex and Grand Seikos remained as unscratched as possible when doing manual work, these two have been banged, scraped along metal and stone and still look unmarked..

Yes I think G shock is great choice. Also now smart watches are good choice for giving complete different look feel function than Rolex mexhanical

I swap between my Steinhart Ocean 1 Ceramic (bracelet) or my Lum-Tec M73 (leather strap).

I save my 16610 for 'special occasions'.

The Sinns have such a clean look. I find them very appealing.

For traveling somewhere dodgy I wear either a Vostok Amphibia or an Apeks 1000m diver's if there's diving planned.
