Thank you so very much for sharing your personal and moving story. I have been following it for a few years.

I am extremely interested in legacy possessions, such as the Corvette. It has enormous meaning to you specifically and only because it was your stepfather's. You would not have a 95 Vette otherwise. In a way, a part of your stepfather's spirit and memory lives on in you.

There are many similar legacy watches.

I wear a gold diamond ring every day and it only has meaning because it was my father's and his father before.

Thanks again for your post and update.

There was a waiting list for the 24-hour available spaces longer then those for a Ceramic Daytona, and it was costing me $400 a month! It was too much of a pain to get in and out and since I couldn’t even use it to take a date for dinner because of the stupid 7:00PM lock up, I was only driving it about once a month! I visit my mom in Arizona once a month and she has plenty of free garage space so for right now, that’s where she’s at. I’ll bring it back eventually, just need the right garage set up.
Makes sense regarding the access Paul. I had an 05 Vette I regret selling, but just didn’t drive it enough. Between the winters, insurance, garaging and keeping it on a battery tender, it became too much, so I sold it. Maybe one day, I’ll pick up another one(C8 got my interest). Damn you jpeezy!

I’ve also been following the story and thank you for sharing it with us. Hope you can eventually keep it in San Diego. Weather shouldn’t be a problem.

Thats right Paul. The ones that won, just changed their names to Americans.

You know I'm joking.
