* * * * * The official TUDOR BLACK BAY owners thread * * * * *

Well I've seen a lot of these posts

Original 16610LV club
Deepsea owners club
daytona, GMT, ... and all the rest

On the other hand I 've seen quite a lot of posts about the Tudor Black Bay. A lot of us have one or will buy one. Many say it's the best looking Tudor out there.
I even dare to say it's more beautifull than ... the other Rolexes I have

So why not put all this info, pics, wristshots etc all together in one thread ... The Black Bay owners club

Welcome.............. buy this wonderfull piece ..............and join the club LOL

What is that cork like substance where the flip lock hinges? Haven't noticed that

it's a macro shot so it seems to be much bigger than it is ... I suppose it's just a reflection of the inner side of the flip lock. So I guess it's some dust on the inner side of the flip lock

What I believe you are referring to is the ivory ceramic ball bearing which Tudor uses to secure the flip lock in place. Pretty cool, only concern is longevity or replacement costs if they're high.
I like it though.

It's funny because I was trying to find what the fabric strap was made from earlier this week and I came across the spread by Jocke. I guessed it was his before I saw his name at the end from the photographic style. The photo shoot was super.

And fwiw, the materials in the Black Bay fabric strap are polyethylene, cotton, and silk.

Just looked at your photos they are excellent but I think you need to spend less on watches and more on your engine it’s all rusty

Well for anything above $1K...I will have to pay Custom Fees Plus the additional GST...that would mean at least 10% extra on top...From experience even a bargain item....may ended up so so (compare to brand new from AD plus haggling) .... ALSO, maybe it's just me...I just feel more at ease when dealing face to face (or at least being able to see the item myself).

Here's a few pics of my Black Bay. It's a great piece. Highly recommend it to anyone who's got the bug.

I like the watch.....but for Tudor to allow it to leave the factory with that leather strap without endlinks is a travesty.....IMHO

Agree endlinks should be included with the leather version.
