Panerai 305 - thought please?

Hi guys

I was after the Pam 382 bronze and I am becoming impatient to say the least! Just been offered a 305 Submersible by my dealer.

Any thoughts on these and are they a sound purchase?

Thanks in advance

Matt

Know how you feel Matt.

I'm waiting for my 386, which will be another 2-3 months and was also offered a 305 to satisfy my impatience.

Its nice enough, probably would love it, since the expectations are maybe not so high. However, decided to pass.

BTW - its not really impatience, I NEED another watch!!

Chances are if you settle you will regret it later on. Consider the time you wait as investment in ensuring you will be getting the thing you really want.

Question is "what do you really want"?

The 305 is a beauty, no doubt about that but the Bronzo looks spectacular!
I would try to get a ridiculous deal on the 305 in the hopes he says no deal.
If he says yes then buy it knowing that you got an amazing deal!

Agree with all above. It will be worth the wait. You can always get a 305 later if you still want it.

The Bronzo will likely be a tough one to come by, unless you have yours paid for anyway.

I've tried on the 305 a few times, it is a very nice watch and the titanium/47mm combo works well. But personally I'd put a 243 in line first...
