Still waiting for mine. Have been told it will arrive in the next couple of months. Has anyone managed to snare the 5740 and 5968?

My 5968A arrived. I was told I would get the 5740G early next year.

Thanks Russ. I have it on the orange strap, it attracts no attention and I really like it. 60 minute counter is easy to read compared to the 5990. I wish if the 60 minute counter on the 5968 had a globe like the date indication register on 5164.

5968A is the cheapest chronograph Patek has produced but I still think 5990 is better value for money.

I’m seeing the Basel collection again this weekend - might have another look at it. I’m currently thinking the 5990, 5711 and 5968 might be a perfect trio for me.

5990, 5711 and 5968 will be a perfect trio. 5990 and 5968 has the same complication but those two are very different watches.

Did you manage to view the 5968?

I saw one on WF, asking for £ 69950. That is close to the MSRP of the 5170P. To me the 5170P is a very beautiful and technically superior watch than the 5968 and it can be bought below MSRP from an AD

The event’s tomorrow Sam - can’t wait, it’s always a really good afternoon. Wow, £69,950 is a crazy price!

I initially thought that the 5968A was over priced compared to the other Aquanauts.

I viewed the 5968A on 3 different occasions and they didn't have the orange strap on it. It is a completely different watch with the orange strap.
