Not to sound redundant as say get what sings, although true but Tudor stands on its own and shouldn't be looked at as the underdog. It is what it is and it's a great choice. I own and enjoy both and never felt shortchanged buy owning and enjoying my Tudors. I don't think you can go wrong, the DJ41 is great for anything and the NF is a great tool watch

Hi
My AD mentioned this as an alternative when I was last in their store. They had sold a few so didn’t have one to show me.
Will definitely check it out when they have one. I do like the rhodium dial version.
Thanks.

id buy what you want and if you arent completely sold on a watch (which im not convinced that you are) id just hold on to the money and wait until the decision is an easy one

No offense boys, but sometimes you just have to come out and say it. If the choice is between Rolex and Tudor, you choose Rolex.

If I have to explain why, it's a waste of time.

But by all means, do whatever makes you happy.

The North Flag is ok, but it’s not a Rolex. And you’ve got an Explorer, why overlap? The DJ is a classic, you won’t regret it.

Hi All,

Paid a visit to dealer several times since looking and trying on the various options. Last trip I was accompanied by Mrs Pandybelly. She was well impressed with the Datejust 41 and the deal has been done. DJ41 with smooth bezel, oyster bracelet and blue dial.
Got a great deal on the price too which has added to the pleasure.
Thanks to all for the input in the decision making process.
I will post photos when it comes home.

Datejust 41 or Tudor North Flag

Either the dj or OP pair really well with a sub, imo

I would go with the 39mm OP Black dial. IMO a classy understated watch from 2018 Basil.

Of course it's not a Rolex, it's a Tudor

I sort of like this point. But the Tudor wouldn’t be Diet Coke, it would be a lesser brand. In my opinion there is no comparison between a Rolex and a Tudor. I’d get the DJ41, it is the superior watch on pretty much every level.

Considering your two Rolexs you have now the DJ41 would compliment them perfectly. I own two Tudors as well and love both and always had a want to add a NF, the case and bracelet seem to work so well together like an AP. Either way you can't go wrong. They are so different l wouldn't be surprised if one day you have both. Happy choosing. ..

Between the DJ41 and NF, I would go NF... And I am a fool wat h kind of guy... Simply put the DJ41 can be a tool watch when needed and if I had one would treat it as such, just like all my other Rolex and other brand tool watches. Only watches that dont see water have a WR under 100M...

Dj 41 all day, but yes the pcs will get torn up even clothes not pure cotton can scratch it, but anyone with cutlery knows steel scratches really easily. However it’s scratched not damaged so who cares
