I know there’s more.

I’ll go first:

Tarratts (Rugby)
Mappin + Webb (St Andrews Scotland)
Fraser Hart (Peterborough)
Eric Smith - Retired (Newton Mearns Scotland)
Tarratts in Rugby closed down in May 2018 so not surprising they are no longer an AD ! Stock transferred to their Stratford on Avon store.

Correct. Why did they close down?
Same with Mappins in St Andrews, they’ve closed too, so no surprise they’re not an authorised dealer either....and why did they close down?

Wouldn’t it be easier for Rolex to drop all the pretense and simply go direct?

The AD contracts are so restrictive, they may as well be factory outlets.

I suggest Rolex just set up a table in each Apple Store.

Excuse me for splitting hairs, but I believe the Queens English [sic] ought to read the Queen’s English.

Still waiting for a Daytona

Imagine the disappointment in hearing the list has to close and can’t be transferred

However, credit where credit is due. You did find my malapropism, a slip up. I posted that on my phone, so whilst inappropriate to Shakespearian English 'Much ado about nothing'. My phone has no reference to Shakespeare and in my laziness, I accept substitutes on such matters that have no real significance to me. (I know I posted it through my phone, due to the pictures. I can only post them whilst on my phone)

That was quite fun nonetheless. Thank you for your input. I can see why you're an accountant. You can probably see why I'm a banker! (cockney rhyming one too)
Who wants to have a beer with this guy?

So badly hope it’s cause they sold to greys or poor service (acting like hey are superior to us who clients who buy $10000+ wristwatches)

fully support if it's due to dodgy tie-ups with greys.

The Norwich AD is certainly still in fine fettle. However, the Great Yarmouth AD has lost its franchise and is now selling current stock and used watches only.

Mappin & Webb are owned by WoS - it may be that the group has just decided its not viable to stock Rolex in those stores, rather than Rolex withdrawing?

Wonder what happens to everyone who were on "lists" for Daytonas, BLROs, Lvc, BLNRs, SkyDs etc etc

Are the out of luck and need start building new AD relationships and try to get in these new so called lists?

Basically back of the line assuming they let you in the line
