But, more importantly, the thin bracelet on the original DSSD was a real problem for a lot of people. I'm not at all surprised that some folks would pay quite a bit more for a watch that has "fixed" what many considered to be a dealbreaker about the original model.

Not the rotor but the bearings are audible. You can’t feel any rotor wobble. It’s a much more durable system in the new movement. The new movement is worth the upcost on its own. The better bracelet makes it a no-brainer.
