verifying correct end piece links for a 5500 with band 7835 19mm

I am trying to diagnose what I would consider to be poor fit on the end piece links on a 1970 Air King 5500 34mm

My Rolex AD which is where I bought the watch from says everything is correct.

The end links on the watch are numbered 257.

The bracelet is a 7835 19 mm.

The profile of the end piece link against the lug is wider much more so than my other 2 Rolex watches a 15010 and a 6494. On those watches the end piece links fit like a glove. All of the watches have band wear to a degree.

See attached Rolex bracelet parts codes for my 7835 19mm bracelet.

It also shows 2 other end piece links

261
271 Manual Daytona
The document does not cross to the particular oysters.

Can anyone shed any light?

Thanks in advance.

Peter
