Icon10 Post Your Rolex/Tudor Watch Weight (PYRTWW)

Hello everybody!

This thread is for posting and comparing watch weights. With models and variations spanning decades, it will be fun to discover and discuss.

Modern, vintage, large, small, customised and even head-only are all welcome to weigh in.

Post a picture of your watch on a scale. Include weight (in grams), year, model and any customisations/changes from new.

Here's mine to start us off:
148.7 grams. 2013 GMT-Master II 116710BLNR. One link removed.

Happy ticking.

Have no need to know the weight of any watch I am wearing,as myself wear the watch I like and not a weight.

I understand what you're saying Peter, but a lot of us do find this very interesting. Not about 'heavier is better' as we know that doesn't mean anything (Patek Phillipe are a lot Lighter than Rolex), it's just interesting seeing the comparisons.

very relevant imo as rolex is obviously experienced through sense of touch as well as sight

would be interested to know the difference between a titanium pelagos and a regular one. i tried both on in person and it felt much lighter but just as strong.

Hmm.... Why do all of you have these scales? Doing some side business to fund the Rolex addiction?

Wow, those PMs are really heavy

GMTC - 141 g
SubC - 146 g
DSSD - 203 g

Just for comparison...
Audemars forged carbon 44 mm chrono - 118 g
Panerai 275 - 154 g

I'm getting a different reading weighing my 114060, minus one link

then someone else suspiciously asked, "why do we have electronic scales in the first place", or words to that effect...

Speaking strictly for myself, I bought this particular scale so I could weigh coffee, going into the porta filter then weighing the amount of coffee going into the cups. Others may have better and different uses for their scales, other than to weigh their Rolex watch

That's one heavy piece of cloth you've got there. What is there, a sheet of lead in its folds?

Very interesting to see the weight differences of these two PM Daytonas.

Does yours have all the links on for the weigh-in, Tom?
