Thanks for clarifying - BLNR no doubt. SD4K even to its lovers is not THAT much better (if at all, if you ask me) but if you are concerned about BLNR being too much bling for single wear, I think that's wrong...I wear mine feeling equally great in business attire and in a t-shirt and flip flops. I think the blue makes it dress down well.

I’ll add to the chorus: Keep the BLNR!

It’s versatile, maintains a low profile in normal room lighting (in other words, it really only “pops” in broad daylight), and fits under a shirt sleeve. Plus it has good water resistance for day to day use (including swimming or showering, should you choose to engage in such risky sports with your wristwatch ;-)

Truth be told, I’m not the biggest fan of the SD4k because I find it thick and a tad boring aesthetically. I also find that I prefer my BLNR over my Sub (LVc).

Good luck with the decision making. At the end of the day, all three scenarios are actually pretty darn good options.

Are you saying you want to flip BLNR and ND for the SD? Horrible idea especially if you've never seen the SD in person before.

I've owned all 3 of them and BLNR wins by far.

I wrestled between the Sub and GMT... opted for the Sub.

No regrets.

If I would only have one Rolex - it would be the 114060 hands down. It’s my favorite modern reference - that and the 14060 are the only two Rolexes I truly have never gotten bored with.

All personal of course but I'd keep the BLNR. Not just the sentimental value but you have added function, a little color (keeps things interesting), perfect dress up or dress down watch.

From those 3 the BLNR, if you included a Sub C............... that’s the one I would have picked it!!!!!

I have both the SD4K and BLNR. Wearing the SD as I type. If it was a 2 for 1 where the 1 is the SD I wouldn’t do it. I’m not opposed to trading 2 for 1 that’s how I acquired my Daytona, but that was a 5 digit Sub and Explorer II.
Between the 3 I own the BLNR gets the most wrist time.

If I needed water resistance more than usual folks (diving and consistent water sports)...sd4k.

Otherwise I think blnr for the complication.

I vote BLNR. Its got more water resistance than you would ever need, a GMT function should you need to travel, and a splash of color for some variety. If you brush the centerlinks (or get a glidelock bracelet like I did) you'll have the perfect do everything watch

BLNR.
I own one and have no interested in getting a sub. The BLNR is more unique and rare. I see subs out in the wild almost daily. I have only seen a person with a BLNR twice.

Blnr. Hands down winner from my point of view and given the sentimentality, too.

I’m not a great lover of the BLNr
I don’t own a SD4k , but have the d blue
I do have a sub no date on order . But on all the above would have to Choose the SEA DWELLER .

ND Sub, I just love the simplicity and the zero f’s given concept.

I’ve had all of them and a Hulk and the SD4K is the only one left in my drawer! It really is a special watch to me and incorporates all the best features for a 40mm watch! If you can get hold of one go for it!

You have mentioned 3 watches I do not have any real desire to own. What I notice about myself is that I wear my first Rolex (which is dateless) the most and I have 2 other watches that pay homage to the sub as well. Add to it the Sub is worth the least; the GMT would free up the most cash. Plus I turned down a 4K but personally loved the 43. The 43 is like a sub on steroids and has a cyclops
