Celebrities rocking Basel ‘18 Releases

I’m not sure if it’s my mind playing tricks on me, but over the last couple of days on instagram a few pics/stories have stood out.

We all know Wahlberg is a big Rolex guy:

Also noticed Nicky Jam wearing what looks like the same thing, an everrose CHNR:

Anyone else have a better eye and can confirm, or know of any others?

They're all the new RG CHNR and very nice. Almost reminds me of a vintage coke bezel with patina

The Rootbeer in all rose gold is really nice. The uniformity of the watch is perfect. Tried one on tonight and drooled.

I'd rather see forum members enjoy these; especially those who don't let material items define them or their ego.

I have not the time for celebrity or their affinities; even Mark. I'd prefer to enjoy a watch for all the amazing things it represents to us collectively.

Lol. Half the people are on here to inflate their ego because they own a Rolex. I don’t have anything against owning them but the posters on here aren’t all necessarily the most humble bunch.

its a hobby forum about watches. Without talking about and sharing our watches there wouldn't be much point. You can chose to interpret it whatever way you want.

I much prefer people who enjoy their watch and document it and are not afraid to wear it. A good chunk of people keep them in the safe or are very selective in where they wear it out of fear. I have far more issues with that.

For real. The cigar and steering wheel photos and general massive cringe.

I don't smoke or drive a fancy car just loaded up truck.
Now if there was a "your Rolex and your smokers" I'm all in.

Sounds like a great AD, willingly divulges purchasing history of a high profile client, and even how they deliver said timepieces to him.

You should start one. It, by far, would not be the craziest your “Rolex and…” thread to grace this forum. Every time I think someone has started one in jest it soon gains traction. You’ll get some smoker pics guaranteed.

If you're watching the World Cup it's fun to spot which watches the pundits are wearing.

Last night on ITV Slaven Bilic had an SD43 on, Ian Wright had a SubC LN on and Patrice Evra has a Skydweller on (blue face). Then they interviewed Rashford and I'm pretty sure he was wearing something on Oyster but I couldn't make out what it was.

Nice shots. It's indeed a beautiful reference. During a period in which I was lusting after a yg GMT green dial, I always looked at Mark's pictures.

Mark is huge Watch fan. He is also one of top paid male actors each year for some time now. Watches for him are a relatively affordable hobby.

I used to think the steering wheel pictures were really cool when I was younger (and guilty of doing it too) but now as I age it comes off as kinda try hard and a bit douchey to me lol
