The car you once had, and wish you could find again...
Which car did you once own, but had to sell due to life stage or financial reasons and wish you had again - maybe even try to find and buy back?
Mine would be my dad's 1982 BMW 320i in silver blue on tan cloth that was handed down to me Unreliable, slow and rust everywhere. But it had that old BMW smell, big steering wheel, manual sunroof, clear 4 guage cluster, and was RWD with a 4spd manual. I miss it. What's yours? |

Wasn't mine, but my buddy's '72 El Camino. He totaled it when he hydroplaned in the rain into a light pole.

1969 Mustang Mach 1. White with red interior and black hood. Got it in 73 when I got my license. Had it through half of College and it was hit by someone running a redlight in 78.
Then got my first Corvette, a 65 Tuxedo Black coupe. Drove it the rest of the time I was in college and after until 83.

1969 Ford XL, It was my parents car and I wanted it so bad for my first car, but it was sold. Have never seen one like it in color or accessories since.

My parents' red TR3 convertible...they sold it when I was 16, over my protests...just because I didn't have my dad's mechanical skills.

I guess if I had to pick just one, it’d be the ‘67 Ford GT-40 Mk.IV... after winning at Sebring it just never was competitive again.
But still have soft spots for the old ‘67 Yenko Camaro (first year of production) body in white. Sold it because a rust spot just ruined it for me. And the ‘73 911 Targa Floria or the ‘64 Ferrari 250 GTO are hard to leave off the list.... The above is my homage to another thread on, well ya know, flexing hard to get things... Now seriously...it would be a toss-up between a 911 and a 2002 that I had in the ‘70’s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

79 Ply Arrow GT. Faster time than the mustang and I think the Trans AM for the same year. Such a cool car. Bought it new. No AC. 2.6L.

My first car, a 1997 BMW 328is, manual transmission.
SO many fond memories with that vehicle for the years I owned it. I would love to have one fully restored some day. Didn't even need to use the radio, the only music I wanted to hear when in this was the sound of that inline 6. |

When I was first discharged from the Military in 1969 I found a job, got married and bought my first automobile. I couldn't afford a new one so I purchased a fire engine red, '67 Ford Galaxy 500, convertible with black leather interior, a built in 8 track player and a plexiglass back window. Needless to say this car was beautiful with a, big powerful 390, V8 engine. I miss that car even today. I've been lucky enough to own some great cars but this one really stood out as the best.

My Dad's car from when I was a toddler. A 1961 Pontiac Bonneville convertible in Midnight black with a red leather interior.
I swear that car got my Mom to date him! |

My old E60 M5 I had back in college. I don’t want it back, but do miss it at times. (Yes that’s possible). It was ridiculously loud with the headers. Threw bucket loads of money into it modifying (FBO, wheels, etc). I fear what the current owner is having to go through while it’s out of warranty lol.
I’m much happier to be honest with my current C63 Black Series. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

‘67 corvette stingray 327
I inherited it when i was 23 and had no need or want for it at the time. Fast forward ~10 years and it’s one of my biggest regrets. Have tried tracking it down but no luck yet. |
