It was. It has a domed sapphire crystal to mimic the acrylic of the original, and a convex dial with painted numerals and blued steel hands. It is casual on the nubuck strap but one could dress it up with alligator. I have ordered a blue shell cordovan strap as I think it will work for both work and play.
