Waterproof strap for radiomir?

I have started looking at the radiomir cased Panerais with the wire lugs and have a simple question.

Are there waterproof straps available for them? I am not going to dive with it, but I do like to have a strap that can take anything. Leather is out of the question. Rubber would be fine, I use that on my 176. But some other material that you don't need to dry if it gets wet would also be fine, maybe nylon?

I guess they all take 26mm straps? I googled it but it seems that I could only find straps for springbars, will they also be usable with the wire lugs? I assume you loosen the screws on the backside, slide the wires out, and then remove the wires somehow from the strap?

Yes the wire lugs can come out and you can change the strap. It can take any 26mm strap so enjoy. The process of changing the strap is a bit more tedius but van be done.

If I'm not mistaken there are a few leather straps that are water resistant as well.

Thank you.

So. for instance this strap would fit then?

How about any OEM straps? Does Panerai have any rubber or nylon 26mm straps?

Excellent! It is the 610 I have been looking at. I am trying to figure out if it was ever available with a sandwich dial now.

Can you share any photos of your 610 on OEM rubber?
Thanks in advance.

I second the two former posts here, were can I get a nylon strap like on the 232 and I would also like to see a picture of the 610 with a rubber strap!

Thank you cramsey, to me it works fine. Personally I would maybe have a preferred a non tapered strap, but I guess all of the OEM rubbers are like that. I have seen third party rubber straps that are not tapered.

Is it safe to assume that any rubber strap marked Panerai but too cheap is counterfeit?

Here is an example: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Rub...0AAOSwNRdYAQXE

A new one costs about 200$ at my official retailer.

I can’t imagine how it could be genuine for $30 US.
