Icon11 A little watch gazing

I stopped in the new Tourneau in Atlantic City today to do a little watch gazing. They had some beautiful JLC and an IWC I liked. I was surprised by the Tag section, there were some very nice looking strap watches there. The one Paul saw and liked a little while ago was there and looked great

I went to see an Omega Railmaster on the brown leather strap in the flesh, but that didn't have the exact model in. You guys know I'm a bit of an Omega fan by now and with recent spendings the panny may be on hold for a while So, I've been thinking about this, I really like the 12, 3, 6, 9 configuration and the brown strap

When I asked Lydia what she thought about me getting the watch, this is the response I got

Do you guys think this means "sure, hon, go ahead and get it?

I know, I know, I'm not holding my breath

I not only like the layout of that watch Craig, but it also wears super comfy too mate.

Would be a nice pickup if the Mrs. gives it the thumbs up. Then again, for that price you would be just shy of halfway to the Pannie.

Yes, but it was the expletives and threats that followed in spanish that confused me

Hang on.
Your wife cooks??????
And I am sure the translation is "Sure dear, go ahead and buy a new watch. What's wrong with the one I just bought you?"

Translate that one more time you get....

"Do and your sleeping on the couch"

LMAO!! That was what I thought too. My wife cooking is asking me if I had the Big Mac or the Nuggets.

John, please don't go anywhere, I have a post I want you to see, it will be done in one minute.

I think it's a great looking watch man. As fas as the wife goes, tell her to stifle it and just remember that she's where she belongs...in the kitchen

I think that's a cool looking watch. But I thought the date feature was important to you!

Anyway, I'd stll prefer it on the SS bracelet. It's a superb bracelet that comes with a concealed clasp that only shows the OMEGA logo when shut. Very nice. Ask your AD to show you the bracelet too.

Cheers - JJ

I think flicking the tongue in spanish culture is something sexual.... so I don't think she's talking about watches there.

BTW, she's a hottie and you can tell her I said that.

I think the strap is what really completes the watch for me and I love the 12, 3, 6, 9 layout

If spanish people in general are considered Latin American, why don't they speak Latin?
