My Pelikan pens...

Not such a great day today, so here goes a picture of my Pelikan pens. I tried to buy an M 710 but the nice people at the store got it mixed up... well, at the end I won't be getting the 710 but here goes what I have.

That is literally a fantastic collection of Pels!

You have done it correctly! My compliments!

I mean..... holy ink! What a great collection. Luscious!

I am not actually trying to be kind here, but I have collected FPs for 35 years or more and that collection makes me drool! It made me refocus my eye on a pen maker that deserves more of my attention. Not to mention that changing out the section / nibs are a breeze. So their engineering is superb as well.

Out of all the pens I own I can honestly say that my Pelikans are among my very best writers! And isn't that really what pens are about?

Thanks again for posting your collection!!!

By the way, I should point out that the translucent Omas has turned yellowish with time. I filled it once, cleaned it and put it away, but the whole pen has lost it's original clear quality. I'll try to find out if it can be restored to its initial appearance.

In my case, after trying just about every brand of fountain pen, I ended up with Pelikan. As you mention, finding and changing bibs is a breeze, and there are many people who do wonders with those nibs. Also, I much prefer the piston filling system to cartridges. The pens are clean, reliable, well-built.

Of course, always avoid the bad inks as they can spoil a great pen. I've followed Binder's recommendations for many years and I've been a happy camper.

Yes on the bad inks!

Again... congratulations on an excellent Pel collection.

I am now pursuing a Pelikan SOUVERAN M800 Grand Place. What a magnificent FP.
