5960R lighter than 5167R?

Hi all, Just curious why is my 5960R lighter than 5167R when the former's case is much thicker.

5960R weighs at 118.60gm whereas 5167R weighs at 121.28gm.

Anyone with 5960R and a digital scale can kindly help to weigh your watch?

The movement in a 5960 is more than twice as thick as that of the 5167. Movements are not made of gold. Whereas the thicker lugs and crown guard of the 5167 are. There’s your answer.
