Panerai & Jomashop Experiences?
New to the forum but a long time lover of Panerai. Purchased my 441 ceramica from an AD this summer and had a great experience but it's hard to not have some of the discounts on there capture your attention.
Has anyone had experience with buying Panerai on there? Namely, do they include all the papers with the box? Want to try something PAM that's simple and hand wound; with 25-30% & no tax it's very tempting. What about getting your watch serviced at a later date? I'm fine with there being no warranty. Can Panerai refuse service just because it's a grey market watch? |

preowned 372 is the way to go unless you must have a new one

Forgive me for my laziness but the “372” looks like a “112” to me what are the differences, other than the placement of name and some dial? Still ETA movement?

to start, a 372 is 47mm 1950 case and p.3000 movement, very different from a 112

The 560 (the 112 replacement) has the p5000 movement and sapphire crystal. The dial/color of lume is different too.

I might be a dissenting opinion here. I've purchased from AD's, well known trusted sellers, and online grey dealers like Jomashop. When it comes to BNIB Omega, Tudor, and Panerai; Jomashop has excellent prices. You won't get the warranty card. You will get a Jomashop warranty, which is a bummer. They deliver very quickly and I have not had any issues.
I am not saying that they are the best avenue for all purchases. Cheaper models (5k-ish) tend to have really good margins on their site. I have had no issues what-so-ever. I would highly endorse them for a base model. They tend not to have some of the more exclusive models and their more expensive models tend to have tighter margins. I got a base Luminor and Radiomir for 25-30% off MSRP. Truth be told, I could not find better prices anywhere for these specific references. If you are looking for items closer to the 10k range, you might be able to get a better deal from a trusted seller. |

I thought that looked familiar! Very happy to see it in use! I seem to be coming around this section lately a little more than usual. I have been panerailess for about a year and have been thinking about a few different models that I may pull the trigger on. Looking good everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
