Take profits. Be cautious. This is super top heavy right now. That’s when bulls get trapped.

I'm buying 80 more shares of GBTC tomorrow and then I'm sitting.

That will give me a nice amount of skin in the game, and if it goes belly up, oh well.

this is a great debate between Michael Saylor and Keith McCullough

this answers the frothy ideology...

if you are holding ANY capital, including gold, it's being debased... USD at somewhere >15% year... Gold is burned at 2% a year.

Bitcoin is the perfect place to store your wealth as we move into the future.

Bitcoin.
Just a matter of time when we move our (business) transactions crypto currency.

It's all about health, happiness & family. The rest are just necessary inconveniences we have to deal with.

as far a use case and 'currency'... a consensus is building that USDC will be the digital currency of the future.

Not sure I see the advantage of a crypto that is tied to a continuously devaluing currency.

I may be wrong. But so far Bitcoin has been outperforming S&P.
And Nasdaq.

it certainly has but crypto is VOLATILE and needs to be handled with great caution. set stop limits and don't get greedy. be safe and book profits.

its crazy to me that even people that bought at the top in 2017 are up 50%+, even if they lost it all initially (hopefully they didn't sell lol). this run does feel very different than 2017's though and people are only looking at this year's gains instead of also looking at 2019 where it hit 13k. also people like to say it crashed to 3k this year even though that was for a few hours. not to say its something thats safe but people like to create their own narratives for it

They’re up almost 100% actually. Long term I think crypto is here to stay. But play it safe. I’m in and am a huge fan but it’s dicey at best and the unregulated Wild West of investments

I thinking about jumping in. Well thought about it New Years Eve when it was $28k now it's 32K...crazy. I didn't realize that it trades on weekends unlike the market here. It's all new to me and I don't quite understand it, but I'd like to give it a go. Thoughts on Coinbase vs eToro? Or any other suggestions?

gemini is another one. coinbase or gemini are fine, don't really know much about etoro

They’re all relatively the same. Use either Gemini or Coinbase pro’s trading platform to avoid huge fees. Don’t just “market buy”

I know 2 people who got lucky with Bitcoin, one by luck of the tech youngsters, one by running his own hedge fund and other large investments for other people. Both did amazing. But, as everything else, the right price is everything. If you don’t get this maybe a mutual fund is best, with regular contributions over years. Also, the current Rolex pricing is nuts. I suggest watching Babylon Berlin for the stock market observations alone...

It's a hedge against the market in a lot of ways.

You guys may laugh, but my guys, who have never steered me wrong, are fully convinced BTC is going to $450k-$500k in the next few years.

don't have an exact percentage in mind but a parabolic move up 3x in so many months is not organic, sustainable growth IMO.
