I personally would not liquidate material things I already own and like to make a speculative investment

Personally, I would just use other cash to make the purchase (as opposed to selling the watch).

Don't really view my watches as assets.
I see them more in the personal item category.

This. I don’t consider watches an investment to be bought, sold or traded for the next "hot opportunity".

Anyone considering selling a watch to put into Crypto?

If you don’t have the cash set aside to burn in blockchain, I wouldn’t liquidate good assets to speculate.

Once you’re into the wallet, the fees begin to set-in and you only have digital gains until you exchange the balance back into tangible assets.

If you’re cash strapped then: Sell a depreciating asset like a Porsche or MB before an appreciating asset.

Man there are so many promising coins that are under $1 that I would suggest investing in rather than BTC or ETH but to each his own. I've done fairly well over the past 5 years or so playing with crypto.

While I agree you should look at the top 10 altcoins in 2017 vs bow compared to bitcoin. They've all dropped 90 percent relative to bitcoin.

Define "fairly well". I don't have any coins, but bitcoin over the last 5 years is up about 14,000%. If you beat that, you have done better than "fairly well". If not, then I question your advice to buy other coins :)

I’m not believer. Yes I could of been extremely rich if I had gotten into the Bitcoin in time. I could of been broke too; is just a gamble.

Bitcoin is NOT an investment, money is supposed to be owed to finance other activities, currently people is holding Bitcoin to generate revenue.

I’m perfectly happy with most of my hard assets in real state generating monthly positive cash flow.
And the rest in the stock market.

I don’t invest in either.

When I buy a watch it’s with the intention to keep.

Well, I first bought bitcoin when it was at $400. I guess my statement needs a lot more context. What I mean is, I think smaller coins have a lot more upside potential at this point than Bitcoin. Of course, it's all just speculation.

Congrats on being in early my comment was half tongue in cheek as I am not involved in any capacity. :/

Which is why if you have the means wait for the crash and buy e.g. 20-30k in Bitcoin. That's the amount I'm comfortable throwing away (which is exactly what this thing is).

No, but I’m strongly considering selling a house to buy some watches.

Think it’s other way around, one of the reasons the Daytona is nearing $40k...

No, crypto returns are not that good. Even if crypto goes from $50k -> $1M the returns are no that good relative to asset classes with similar risk profiles.
