New jubilee on vintage Datejust

Hello, everyone. I've been looking at the threads for sometime now, but just happened to join recently after getting my hands on a vintage Datejust. Now I had a question regarding the bracelet. The Datejust I own (the 16030) has the original jubilee bracelet, but I wanted to replace it with the new jubilee bracelet with the solid endlinks and a hidden clasp. Would the new jubilee bracelet fit on my vintage Datejust or is there some difference between the old and the new datejusts?

Thanks!~

Really? It won't fit?

Are the lug holes placed differently from a GMT 16700 or 16710? (for those quite vintage models, the super jubilee fits. Only requiring 1,8mm spring bars which can be easily found).

Is-it because of a difference in height of the case/lugs?

Would you please further explain, please? Because I may one day buy a 4 or 5 digit datejust, in remembrance of the one I bought new in 1980 and which I sold 10 years after (with its genuine jubilee and a supplementary oyster band).

I do rather echo Mr Chope's question here, it would be great to understand why the Super Jubilee doesn't fit, and better yet, to understand which would be the "most modern" bracelet you could fit to a 1601 or 1603 DJ

Because it doesn’t fit. That why.

There are plenty of period correct OEM jubilee bracelets always for sale for both 1601 and 1603. Just look around.
