I want to like the black more, but I like blue better. Had it 3 times in fact, but I do not like the dial, too neon blue. Wish the bluesy had a black dial…I’d be back!

Black for me. However, you could talk me into wearing the 16613 blue bezel with a silver Serti dial.

I prefer the black. Super nice, more traditional and not so loud.

So, you would be a candidate for the WG Sub. Dial and bezel are spot on for you. Darn relative price point. LOL.

Many more black responses than I expected. I’m leaning towards black.

This was always how I saw it as well but it also really depends on what you’re looking for in the watch OP. The TT blue is bling/flashy whereas the TT black is more bling/classy…as classy as you can make a sub anyway.

I’ve owned both and always preferred the blue, I must say my tastes have changed lately and find then both to be tacky

If you’re asking between the two TT’s - the Blue is iconic - go Blue !

If you were asking between the Blue TT and the SS Black Dial - I would begrudgingly go with the SS Black Dial - the classic ….

I went to try the TT Sub LN and TT SD43 while wearing my TT blue Sub. Although the blacks were okay, I never felt like taking them home. Even after 2 1/2 years' ownership, I found the LB to be so much better looking. Found the LN a little bit boring. Yet again another black dial diver. The LB takes it to another level. For me, it's night and day.

I’m sure I am in the minority here, but between the two, it’s black all day long. I’ll admit though, I’m personally not a fan of the TT bluesy. I get the appeal though.

IMO nobody can answer this question for you and you really need to see both on YOUR wrist in order to make a decision. Easier said than done but this is the best answer and solution.

Pictures, videos, reviews, and suggestions never come close to having the watch on your wrist before pulling the trigger.

Blue is too special for me and might work better for me in a larger collection with lots of rotation. The black, on the other hand, is timeless for me and I find it much more attractive in combination with gold.

Neither of these watches will fly under the radar, and the blue is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive models in the Rolex lineup; instantly recognizable as a classic piece.

The TT LN, while not subdued, just seems to be more suitable to my sense of style.

Both are gorgeous, but the blue one has been more common in my experience. I’d go black for that reason. I think the blue is way more casual, and the black is more dressy.
