Wow, I must say I am surprised at all the Daytona answers. That watch is not for me either, the dial is just too busy, but I would still consider it a good looking model.

I wouldn’t be seen dead in a YM II.

I have an AK and a two tone YMII both on my list. It’s normal that not everyone likes the same thing. I can see how folks wouldn’t like them, but I love them.

As my answer, I’d say the Diamond encrusted stuff. It just doesn’t suit my style. Way too flashy.

And yet, if you got a call from the AD…

I think to each his or her own. We all have different likes so enjoy what feels good to you!

I couldn't say that about any of the models. Even if I don't like it, I can find things I can appreciate in each one.

I do not like diamonds on a man’s watch. Other than that, I have never met a Rolex I did not like!

For me it would be a 26mm size. Just too small for me.

There are certain gem-set Rolex models that I would enjoy owning and wearing privately, like around the house or with long sleeves, but would not wear publicly or visibly if I owned them.

Rolex is like any other watch brand for me: I like a small number of their watches and would never want to own or wear most others. The Air-King, Datejust, Daytona (except for Rainbows), Explorer, Sky-Dweller, and Yacht-Master don't do anything for me. Just personal preference. I'm drawn more towards certain Sea-Dwellers, Subs (but no green bezels), GMTs, DD40s, and Milgausses.

I’d never wear a Daytona personally. Just an ugly watch for my tastes coupled with poor dial legibility.

Any watch with stones located outside of the dial itself (bezel, lugs, bracelet) and any "iced" dials.

Anything with Yacht, gems, bubbles, puzzle pieces or palm fronds on the dial.

I’d wear about any of them even though some are not my personal taste. Sometimes it’s the ones you don’t think you like can surprise you the most when on the wrist.
