Is it safe to wear a Rolex watching Netflix at home in the evening.

I do.....

"is it safe threads" ...Ooow men, the forum is for everyone, I know. Each question is a rightful one, I know. To each his own...

But the moment you ask this issue on the forum, deep inside yourself, you know already it maybe is not so smart to take it with you! So wear a cheap watch or use your phone and enjoy your trip or vacation. It's only a watch....

There's a thread of a guy with a Bluesy doing all kinds of activities that he has updates over a span of years, answering "is it safe" questions.

Does anyone have that amazing thread handy?

It's safe to watch Netflix with a Rolex on, unless you're in the profoundly dangerous country called Switzerland.

However, even if you're not in Geneva, be mindful. Should you wash your hands, your Deepsea Challenge will be destroyed. This is because there is 'dynamic pressure' from your hands moving, and the soap molecules enter the watch due to the 'dynamic pressure'.

Probably is safe, but not if you’re watching it with a Las Vegas Hooker or a really pretty friendly lady who just happened to be really interested in you at a bar.

OMG NO!!!!!!! Are you serious!?!?!? A Rolex should never actually be worn!!!!!! They were made to only viewed as exhibition pieces in the case at ADs, or possibly in a safe. As a matter of fact, I recommend bringing your safe to the ADs or when meeting a gray to purchase one, the IMMEDIATELY place it in and LOCK IT DOWN. Even then, you are taking a heck of a chance.

I think you’re taking a pretty big risk there flaunting your fancy jewellery at home. While it’s not the wild west you should still wear long sleeves while watching Netflix to protect yourself properly. You don’t want any unwanted attention from the wrong crowd and making yourself a target. Always carry pepper spray while sitting on your couch and be aware of your surroundings. Any shifty looking lampshade behind your back might be a potential source of danger. I have heard stories of arms being chopped off while reaching for the remote with a Rolex on. Anyway with that being said enjoy your favourite series or movie!

Funny enough, I often take my watch off when I get home. Mostly to avoid banging it around doing chores or dinner…

Completely agree with the original post - if you’re asking is if safe don’t bother wearing your Rolex, it’s Seiko time.

I met a girl on Tinder one time, and took her to my house to Netflix and chill.

She must have slipped a roofie in my drink because I don't remember most of the night.

When I woke up the next day, my Rolex was gone from my wrist.

So I say no, it's not safe to wear your Rolex at home.

It depends on what you’re watching

For the record, I don’t recall ever asking myself if “it was safe” to do anything with my Rolex.

I will say, I presume it’s safe to watch Netflix at home with your watch as long as you don’t have a cat (Cats are sketchy) and as long as you’re not entertaining ladies or men of the night.
